EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY: Connection to Nature Experience

Loading Events

As one of her new ventures, Nature Based Resilience, AWE Co-founder, Amanda Lamont is exploring opportunities to re-build climate and disaster resilience by re-connecting people and nature, re-establishing our natural connection to land, water, air and wildlife by breathing, listening, touching, feeling, listening, seeing and immersing.

Amanda has made an exclusive offer to AWE members to join her on an overnight hike and camp under the stars at a magnificent and accessible location just 2 hours out of Melbourne. Whilst not a hard hike, it will give people an opportunity to experience a sense of achievement and build confidence, connection and grounding in the bush. We will also be able to see how the bush has regenerated after bushfires which impacted the area in past years.

The hike will take place over the weekend of Saturday 11th – Sunday 12th March.

There is no fee to participate but contributions to AWE will be gratefully received. Members will need to provide their own equipment, and Amanda can assist people with a gear list and accessing gear if needed. We will be car pooling to the location.

If you are interested in finding out more details and to register your interest, please contact Amanda Lamont
