October 10 is Australasian Women in Emergencies Day, a day to recognise and celebrate women in emergencies and disaster resilience.

Join us at the Australasian Women in Emergencies Day Forum to hear from keynote speakers, a panel conversation, and messages of support from the sector. Speakers will be announced soon.

Women bring unique skills and strengths to all areas of disaster resilience and emergency management, and their insights and expertise help build resilience across Australasia.

Australasian Women in Emergencies Day is for all women who work, volunteer or study in emergency services, community or not-for-profit organisations, governments or agencies, universities or schools, and private businesses and organisations. There are lots of other ways you can get involved – click here for more information.

See you on 10 October to recognise and celebrate women in emergencies and disaster resilience!
