The AWE Women in Emergencies for Climate Action group is pleased to be joined by Greg Mullins at its next online meeting on Wednesday 21st June 2023 at 12pm AEST.

Greg Mullins is a Climate Council Councillor. He has more than 50 years’ experience as a firefighter, coordinating responses to many major natural hazard disasters over more than two decades and nearly 14 years as Commissioner of Fire & Rescue New South Wales. In 2019, he formed Emergency Leaders for Climate Action (ELCA), a group of former fire and emergency service chiefs from every Australian state and territory concerned about the impacts of extreme weather driven by climate change.

Greg will share an update on activities at ELCA and Climate Council and share some of the resources available for us to use in our own climate action activities and commitments.
