In February we held our inaugural meeting of the new AWE chapter – Women in Emergencies for Climate Action. After sharing information about our interest in the area of climate change and climate action, we explored a range of opportunities including advocacy, advice, representation, connection and local action. We also discussed developing an AWE climate change position statement, sharing resources, supporting one another and networking.
